Genevieve Meyer (she/her)
Director of Work-Based Learning Programs
Genevieve Meyer joined WABS in 2022 and currently serves as Director of Work-Based Learning Programs, providing strategic leadership and oversight to the Career Tours, Career Shadows, STEM4Good, and Teach2Connect programs. She partners with employers, district leaders, educators, and community stakeholders to design meaningful career exploration opportunities to support students in pursuing a future that embraces their strengths, passions, and dreams.
A native Seattleite, Genevieve began her college career at Seattle Central College through Running Start before earning her B.A. from Western Washington University and dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and International Studies from the University of Denver. Never missing an opportunity to experience new cultures and locales, she has lived and worked in Israel, France, Gabon, Mexico, and South Africa, and has traveled to nearly two dozen other countries. With over 15 years of nonprofit experience in education, training, and cross-sector engagement, she is passionate about building inclusive programs that connect diverse learners to real-world opportunities.
