Sound Careers in Healthcare 2026 will take place on March 10, 2026!
Co-hosted by WABS, the Healthcare Industry Leadership Table (HILT), and the University of Washington Doctor for a Day (UW DFAD) program, Sound Careers in Healthcare (SCIH) is an annual, free, half-day career fair for high school students featuring hands-on activities and networking with healthcare professionals and postsecondary institutions.

- 670 students from 27 high schools and 12 districts across King, Pierce & Snohomish County
- 218 volunteers from 62 partnering organizations
- 92 hands-on activity tables
After Attending:
- 99% of students said they were more aware of healthcare career choices
- 78% of students said they were more likely to pursue a healthcare career
- 85% of students listed an actionable next step
~2 Months After Attending:
- 91% are still interested in a healthcare career
- 60% completed their next step
