Sound Careers in Healthcare 2026 will take place on March 10, 2026!
Co-hosted by WABS, the Healthcare Industry Leadership Table (HILT), and the University of Washington's Center for Workforce Inclusion and Healthcare System Equity (WIHSE), Sound Careers in Healthcare (SCIH) is an annual, free, half-day career fair for high school students featuring hands-on activities and networking with healthcare professionals and postsecondary institutions.

- 670 students from 27 high schools and 12 districts across King, Pierce & Snohomish County
- 218 volunteers from 62 partnering organizations
- 92 hands-on activity tables
After Attending:
- 99% of students said they were more aware of healthcare career choices
- 78% of students said they were more likely to pursue a healthcare career
- 85% of students listed an actionable next step
~2 Months After Attending:
- 91% are still interested in a healthcare career
- 60% completed their next step
