Event Overview
Sound Careers in Healthcare (SCIH) is an annual, free, half-day career fair co-hosted by the Healthcare Industry Leadership Table (HILT), the Washington Alliance for Better Schools (WABS), and the University of Washington Doctor for a Day (UW DFAD) program. High school students furthest from opportunity rotate between interactive stations, managed by UW Doctor for a Day volunteers, across several healthcare fields. Healthcare companies and postsecondary institutions also table at SCIH, providing students with information about educational pathways and employment opportunities in healthcare.
